The admission fee is 14EUR Per Person, updated in 2023.
The admission should be purchased online in advance, as there are only 400 tickets sold per each time slot.
If you wish to be taken on a private tour of Sintra, with transportation included, this is the number one recommended tour:

If not booking in advance, big lines may exist at the entrance, specially from March to October.
Also, please make sure to arrive early in the morning, or late in the afternoon.
The Best times to visit are before 10AM or later than 5PM.
There is also one automatic/electronic ticket machine, to pay with credit/debit card, but not always working.
